Exploring urban Singapore on a 22 inch penny isn’t the smartest idea. The occasional pothole, ubiquitous kerbs, cracks, grass, braille-like tactile paving – it’s all unfriendly architecture for a tiny cruise board and a newbie. Even on the well-paved park connectors, it has not been the nicest ride for the past year.
Got a new 35″ Landyachtz Battle Axe longboard from the longboard store at Telok Blangah.
Boy, it’s a beautifully comfortable board and insufferably fast. Trying to acclimatise to the more rigid turning radius.
With the new underpasses at Kim Seng, it is also so much easier and faster to get to town from home. Kudos to NParks for their wonderful park connectors!
