It’s the sixth day of the new year and I have completed a grand total of one book this year. In the spirit of new years and foolhardy resolutions, I have resolved to read 50 books this year.
Why 50? Why not like 100 or something right?
I think I’ll just give myself the excuse that I’m settling for 50 to give myself more time for annotation and note-taking. Particularly since I will be serving my time in national service, I should have an unprecedented magnitude of time that I can dedicate to reading and catching up on things that I should have read in the past 18 years of existence, apart from the weekly edition of The Economist.
Good thing that I have already compiled a detailed list of books to read. Now the only problem is procuring them.
I’ll appreciate recommendations and people lending me books (that I may not return).
